Malaika had 9 puppies, 3 ridgeless and 1 with only one crown and nothing else of the ridge. We kept 5 show quality puppies 2 males and 3 females. They are growing rapidly, and Malaika is as calm a mother as she is with everything else she does. More pictures of the pups at Mariannes Facebookprofile.

Malaika is our own little clown, the funniest dog we ever owned. She is wery calm, and goes about her own life the way she wants, and does not pay to much attention to what other thinks she should do. She does obedience training with Marianne every week, and as long as there is some reward, she will continue to work.

The puppies will be raised in a home enviroment, with other dogs, both bitches, a male, and a strict old poodle:-) Together with the chickens and turkeys in our yard they will learn what life will bring them:-) Together with the new owner we want to make the transition from the safe home to the scary world as easy as possible.

We have been looking for Eros for a long time. We have followed him closely, and we started the communication with Caroline and Maria a long time ago. We have been wanting to keep a Malaikapup at home, and that made it even more important for us to get a male that we personally wanted a pup from. It is also important for us that we share quite a few of the breeding strategies with the male owners. We have met Eros on several occasions, and he has always been the perfect gentleman with both us and our dogs, both in and arround the ring. Our male is about the same age as Eros, and they have met several times, they both behave, and show mutual respect.

As a breeder it is important to have wishes and goals for your breeding. If you try to look past your lovely pet, and see the small flaws, and challenges the dogs in the breeding program has, it is easier to try to have some progress in the breed. To us at Kifani, the breed standard is very important. It's like a description of the perfect dog. We want to breed dogs that are as close to as many parts of this description as possible. Good health is very important, and combined with good anatomy, the dogs will show themselves good in the showring. If you have a healthy dog, that are well built, you have a good starting point for any dogsport, and for many happy years with their owners.

Eros fits this way of thinking, he is very harmonic, with good construction, both mentally and exterior wise. We think he will be a good match for Malaika both when it comes to mentally and exterior. Both parent are of good health, and we hope of course this will be inherited to the pups. As a breeder it's important to keep both mental and physical health in mind, and we feel we have done so with this combination.

From African Bravehart we have sciccored this: "Eros" has a masculine head with a black mask, lovely dark eyes, a long elegant neck, an overall strong and well built body, excellent top line/croup, good bone structure, excellent angulation both front and rear, excellent feet a beautiful ridge, excellent movements with excellent drive, a deep red colour and an amazing temperament (he is just a true joy to be around).
